Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 6 oz white chocolate, finely chopped
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup sugar
Directions:
- Combine the milk and cream in a saucepan and heat over medium heat until scalded.
- Add the white chocolate and whisk until smooth
- Whisk the sugar into the egg yolks and temper by pouring a bit of hot cream while whisking.
- Whisk the yolks back into the cream and heat over medium heat until the mixture has thickened enough to coat the back of a spoon.
- Chill in an ice bath, then overnight in the fridge.
- Churn in an ice cream maker and then freeze for at least 4 hours.
